Retirement From Clinical Practice - Professor Danne is closing his practice as of Tuesday 18th October 2022 and is looking forward to a retirement with lots of activity with family and other matters.

Scope of Practice
A/Prof Danne trained in General, Trauma and Colorectal surgery, and Endoscopy, in Melbourne, Washington DC in the USA, and in the UK.
He has worked as a Surgeon and Endoscopist in Albury-Wodonga for several years, and since 1998 in Melbourne.
He has directed research projects through the University of Melbourne and established surgical post-graduate training courses in the management of major traumatic injury. He was appointed the Inaugural Director of Trauma Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital in 1998, and also worked in the Colorectal and General Surgical Unit.
He works mainly in private practice, but also as a VMO at Kilmore District Hospital with a practice focus on general surgery, colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy.
